Last month I volunteered at the Shape to Fabrication conference in Stratford Circus, London. The event, organised by Simply Rhino and Robofold, focuses on cutting-edge technology, innovative construction and applications in architecture, engineering and design.

This years event was tailored to the London Olympics, with a stellar lineup  which included presentations from Populous (main stadium), Zaha Hadid Architects (aquatics centre), Arup Associates (the orbit) and Heatherwick Studios (the cauldron).

I thoroughly enjoyed forming part of the team and having the opportunity to listen to the variety of applications currently being employed within the industry. Below are a few images of the event courtesy of Stephanie Bose, Event Coordinator.
